Islamabad, May 22 (TNS): In this connection, second meeting of CDA-DWP is being organized within a span of one month to obtain approval of different projects. After the approval of two flyovers / under passes and PC-II of IJP Road during the first meeting of the CDA-DWP work is being started on these projects.
These projects were approved during the meeting of CDA-DWP held on 07.05.2019 while it was also decided that another meeting will be held to rectify observations on some projects.
During the meeting, projects including revised PC-I for the development work of sector I-14, revised PC-I for the development of sector E-12 and revised PC-I for development of sector I-15 are likely to be approved. Similarly, approval for extension in execution period for development work in Park Enclave would be also solicited. Furthermore, PC-I for shifting / erection of pedestrian bridges in Islamabad and PCI-I regarding grade separation facility at intersection of 7th Avenue with Khyaban-e-Subharwardi would be presented in the meeting for approval.
It is pertinent to mention that fresh PC1 have been prepared in most cases so that all legal requirements are fulfilled. Previously some of these projects were conceived but legal requirement such as revised pc1 etc were remaining. Now the requisites have been fulfilled in a record time of few months. Once approved by CDA-DWP sector development activity will commence after a passage of two decades.
