Islamabad, Jun 18 (TNS): Special Assistant on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan says PTI government has allocated two hundred billion rupees more in the next budget than that of the last year for Sindh.
In a statement on twitter on Tuesday, she said 815 billion rupees have been earmarked for Sindh under National Finance Commission award; whereas in the outgoing fiscal year, the amount was 616 billion rupees.
This shows the importance being given to the federating units by the federal government.
The Special Assistant said the budget guarantees protection of rights to people in all the provinces, including Sindh; and those who are beginners in politics do not understand this fact.
Firdous Ashiq Awan said special importance has been given to the tribal districts merged with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan province in the budget.
She said those who are trying to create hindrance in adoption of the budget are not serious in development of the country.
