Islamabad, July 01 (TNS): On public complaints, a medical center operating in Golra Railway station has been raided by a drug control team of Health Deptt Islamabad under supervision of Chief Drug Inspector, Islamabad and area magistrate. The center was run by a quack who used to give tranquilizers and potent antibiotics to patients through drips.
Huge quantity of drugs were illegally concealed in a room of the residence at upper floor. The drug team recovered all the drugs from residence which were stocked in a very unhygienic conditions. The quack has been arrested and legal action has been initiates against him. Two other clinics operated by quacks have also been sealed by the team in same area.
