Islamabad, July 15 (TNS): Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Islamabad Capital Administration ICT conducted joint anti encroachment operations at Latherar Road started from Khana Pul to Bilal Town Islamabad, in connection with ongoing anti Encroachment Drive and removed illegal encroachments and dismantled sheds, fences and Advertising board established by the shopkeepers in front of their shops.
The operation was participated by the staff of Enforcement Directorate while assisted by officers and staff of ICT and Islamabad Police.

Machinery was also used to remove illegal sheds, fences and Advertising boards established by the shopkeepers in front their shops including 35 illegal sheds, 07 Cabins, 06 advertising boards and cleared 02 kilometer area of the road, both sides.
During this operation illegal encroachments was removed / dismantled, these encroachments were not only affecting the traffic flow but also disturbing the pedestrian moments in the vicinity.
