Islamabad July 25 (TNS): In compliance of directives of Public Accounts committee, Capital Development Authority (CDA) acting upon rotation policy has transferred more than 150 officers of BS-17, BS-18 and BS-19 in the first phase. These officers have been serving on the same posts for more than three (03) years. Transfers have been made across the board and in all cadres of the authority. Human Resource Department has issued orders in this regard. The officers have been directed to relinquish their charges and assume the charges of new assignments accordingly.
The officers who have been transferred include three (03) Directors of Executive cadre, two (02) Directors of Architecture Wing, two (02) Directors (Civil), Four (04) Deputy Directors (Civil), Three (03) Deputy Directors Electrical and Mechanical Wing, Two (02) Deputy Directors Planning Wing, three (03) Deputy Directors Architecture Wing, Four (04) Deputy Directors Finance, Audit and Accounts Wing, one (01) Deputy Director of Executive cadre , one (01) Deputy Director Security cadre, seven (07) Audit and Accounts officer, two (02) Statistical and Evaluation officers, 21 Divisional Accounts Officers, 16 Assistant Accounts Officers, 26 Assistant Director (Civil), 15 Assistant Director Electrical & Mechanical, eight (8) Assistant Director Executive Cadre, one (01) Marketing Manager, one (01) Assistant Manager, one (01) Documentation Officer and 31 Private Secretaries.
It is pertinent to mention here that some officers of the authority were working in same departments on same posts for more than three years and have not been rotated. Furthermore, Due to lack of implementation of the rotation policy, issues of governance and service delivery were surfacing badly.
CDA Management has reiterated that rotation policy will be implemented across all the wings of the Authority in true letter and spirit.
