Karachi, Oct 03 (TNS): Sindh government has decided to set up a Highway Patrolling Force in the province.
The decision was taken in a meeting chaired by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah in Karachi on Thursday.
The meeting was informed that there are ten highways in the province and Highway Patrolling Force set up would help to counter crime, accident and traffic management.
Chief Minister directed the Inspector General Sindh Police Dr Syed Kaleem Imam to submit proposals in this regard.
The meeting also decided that special quota will be given to the transgender in government jobs.
