Islamabad, Oct 04 (TNS): National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser inaugurated ‘Common Man’s Gallery’ in National Assembly hall and counter at the Parliament House reception.
Addressing an inauguration ceremony in Islamabad on Friday, the Speaker said this step has been taken to facilitate general public to have access to National Assembly.
The Speaker said any citizen can have access to National Assembly by showing his National Identity Card. He said special staff will be deputed at reception to help the citizens.
Asad Qaiser said this initiative will enable public to meet their representatives.
Guests coming to witness proceedings will not be allowed to bring mobile phone, tape recorder, weapon, umbrella, camera, hand bags, book and stick in the gallery.
