Pakistan beat India by three runs, qualify for ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup final

Dhaka, Nov 21 (TNS): Pakistan U23 cricket team defeat India U23 by three runs in the 1st semi-final of Asian Cricket Council Emerging Teams Cup and qualify for the final at Dhaka Bangladesh today.

Batting first, Pakistan scored 267 runs in 50 stipulated overs for the loss of seven wickets.

In reply, India could only made 264 in 50 stipulated overs for the loss of eight wickets.

From Pakistan, Omair Yousuf is the higher scorer with 66 runs.

Other main contributor are Haider Ali Khan who scored 43, Rohail Nazir with 35 while Saif Badar remained not out on 47 runs.

Pakistan will face Afghanistan or Bangladesh in the final of the tournament to be played on Saturday.

Afghanistan and Bangladesh will feature in the second semifinal of the tournament on Thursday.
