KP Govt initiates construction work on several small dams

Peshawar: Jan 14, 2020 (TNS): The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has initiated construction work on several small dams to irrigate barren lands across the Province.

According to Irrigation department, the dams will be constructed in Lakki Marwat, Haripur, Abbottabad and Mansehra districts at a cost of more than 5661 million rupees.

Similarly, construct work on Pehur High Level Canal Extension Project has also been initiated with the financial assistance of Asian Development Bank.

On completion, it will irrigate more than thirty thousand acres’ land in the area.
