AJK Govt to appoint 14,000 new teachers

MUZAFFARABAD July 20 (TNS): Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Minister for Education Barrister Iftikhar Gilani on Thursday said that the AJK government is going to appoint 14, 000 teachers across the state to overcome shortage of teaching staff in schools.

“These vacancies will be filled through National Testing Service (NTS) to ensure merit,” he said, adding that “900 lecturers will also be recruited for colleges through Public Service Commission.”
