Islamabad: July 18, 2020 (TNS): Federal minister for planning and development and chairman national Command and Operation center Asad Umar says corona pandemic in the country can be controlled with joint efforts of all the provinces.
This he said while addressing the meeting of National Command and operation Center at chief Minister’s house in Karachi today (Saturday).
The Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah hosted the meeting that was participated by NCOC National Coordinator Lt. General Hamood-uz-Zaman and the Chief Secretary Sindh.
Asad Umar said that holding meetings of National Command and operation center in provinces is aimed at further improving the performances.
He said that federal government in cooperation with provinces is working and shaping guidelines to contain the spread of corona.
He lauded the role played by provinces in controlling corona pandemic.
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, on the occasion, said selective lock down is being carried out in hot spot areas against spread of corona in the provinces and two separate hospitals for treatment of corona patients have been established in Karachi.
He said sale and purchase of sacrificial animals in the streets have been banned in the province.
