Met Office forecasts hot, dry weather

Islamabad: Sep 08, 2020 (TNS): Mainly hot and dry weather is likely to prevail in most parts of the country during the next 12 hours.

However, rain with thundershower is expected in Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir and adjoining hilly areas.

Temperature of some major cities recorded this morning:

Islamabad twenty-one degree centigrade, Lahore twenty-seven, Karachi twenty-eight, Peshawar twenty-four, Quetta fourteen, Gilgit seventeen, Murree sixteen and Muzaffarabad nineteen degree centigrade.

According to Met Office forecast in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the weather in Srinagar, Pulwama, Anantnag, Jammu and Baramulla will be partly cloudy while the weather in Leh will be cold and dry.

Temperature recorded this morning in Srinagar, Pulwama and Baramulla sixteen degree centigrade, Jammu twenty-three, Leh six, Anantnag fifteen and Shopian fourteen degree centigrade.
