Islamabad: Nov 21, 2020 (TNS): Prime Minister Imran Khan, while expressing satisfaction over the economic stabilization in the country, has said that benefit of improvement in economy must reach the common man at earliest.
Presiding over a meeting in Islamabad to review the country’s economic situation, he said Pakistan’s economy is growing fast in the region.
The Prime Minister lauded the economic team for its efforts regarding economic discipline and better debt management.
He said the government’s strategy to tackle the COVID-19 situation was hailed at international level.
The Prime Minister described the positive trends depicted in the country’s Large Scale Manufacturing sector as a good omen for the economy.
The meeting also discussed in detail the possible effects of the second wave of Coronavirus on the country’s economy as well as the protection of poor segments of the society through Kafalat Programme.
