AJK govt decides to impose complete lockdown in region for 15 days

Islamabad: Nov 21, 2020 (TNS): The Azad Jammu and Kashmir government has decided to impose complete lockdown in the region for fifteen days commencing from midnight today in the wake of second wave of Coronavirus.

The decision was taken in a high-level meeting chaired by Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider Khan.

It was further decided that wearing masks will be compulsory, SOPs will be observed during prayers and offering Namaz e Janaza, while Yaum-e-Dua will be observed on Monday.

Speaking on the occasion, Raja Farooq Haider appealed to the people to implement Standard Operating Procedures to prevent spread of Coronavirus pandemic.
