Islamabad: Dec 10, 2020 (TNS): British High Commissioner to Pakistan Christian Turner has said British companies are interested to invest in the energy sector of Pakistan especially in off grids solutions.
He was talking to Special Assistant on Petroleum Nadeem Babar in Islamabad today.
The British envoy commended the initiatives taken by the current Pakistani government to revamp the energy sector.
The Special Assistant said Pakistan welcomes the UK investment in the energy sector.
He said the government has set ambitious targets to introduce twenty percent renewable energy by 2025 and thirty percent by 2030.
