KP CM stresses on implementation of latest technology in excise, taxation sector

Peshawar: Dec 11, 2020 (TNS): Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan has emphasized on implementation of latest technology in the excise and taxation sector to facilitate the general public.

Presiding over a meeting About Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control in Peshawar, he directed the concerned authorities to take concrete steps to achieve the desired targets under the reforms agenda of the government.

Mahmood Khan also directed to complete the overview process of “Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Control of narcotics Bill,2019” as earliest possible.

The meeting was informed that the government has collected about three billion rupees tax during the previous financial year which is eighty seven percent of its target.

Similarly, the meeting was further informed the government has established five narcotics control police stations while work on launching of its universal contact numbers is underway.
