Islamabad: Jan 09, 2021 (TNS): Information Minister Shibli Faraz launched the ‘Academy of Media Excellence’ at Pakistan Broadcasting Academy in Islamabad this evening.

Addressing the event, the Information Minister said the Academy of Excellence will be helpful in introducing new talent in the country.
He said experts and legendary personalities will share their experiences with the participating students and transfer their knowledge to the new generation.
He said his Ministry will ensure provision of all possible facilities and resources to the Academy in providing training to students from different universities.
On the occasion, the Minister also launched the official logo of the Academy of Media Excellence.
Renowned Radio Newscaster and first female announcer of Pakistan Television Kanwal Naseer, famous producer Khwaja Najmul Hassan, actress Ghazala Kaifi and heads of media departments from different universities also spoke on the occasion.
This initiative will offer a six month diploma in production of drama, documentary, show, infotainment, news, current affairs and other subjects.
The event was attended amongst others by Information Secretary Zahida Parveen, Additional Secretary Shaheera Shahid and Director General Radio Pakistan Ambareen Jan.
