KP govt to revert age of superannuation for govt servants from 63 to 60 years

Peshawar: March 16, 2021 (TNS): The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has decided to revert the age of superannuation for government servants from sixty-three to sixty years.

The decision was taken during the cabinet meeting in Peshawar today (Tuesday) with Chief Minister Mahmood Khan in the chair.

Later, briefing media men about cabinet decisions, Special Assistant to Chief Minister on Information Kamran Khan Bangash said in future, all recruitments will be made through provincial testing agency ETEA.

He said the cabinet directed Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Service Commission to establish new zones within one month.

The Special Assistant said the cabinet approved one hundred million rupees for promotion of science and technology.

Kamran Khan Bangash said Chief Minister Mahmood Khan has directed the food department to finalize Ramzan Package.

In his briefing, Finance Minister Taimur Saleem Jhagra said the government is working on pension reforms to facilitate the retired government employees.
