ISLAMABAD: March 31, 2021 (TNS): Work of Capital Development Authority (CDA) on construction of rest area and washrooms at Srinagar Highway is underway. State of the art landscaping of all the loops of Peshawar interchange at the said Highway has been completed. In the next phase, work on landscaping of Golra Interchange will be initiated.
According to detail, administration of CDA is committed for restoring the road infrastructure and for enhancing the natural beauty of the city. In this regard, plantation is underway at Srinagar Highway. Different plants of flowers, fruits, and others are being planted on both the sides of the said Highway. These trees are being planted according to a proper planning. Work on beautification of Peshawar Mor Interchange will be completed soon. Flower plants have been planted at Serena Chowk. Designs have been prepared for plantation at the chowks of G-9, G-10, and G-11. On the other hand, the administration of CDA is constructing two rest areas and portable washrooms at Srinagar Highway to facilitate the citizens.
