Islamabad: May 23, 2021 (TNS): Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has said incentives will be given to the salaried and the common people in the next budget.
In a statement on Sunday, he said economic indicators show that Pakistan’s economy has taken off and the opposition’s criticism on economic growth is aimed at creating political chaos and instability in the country.
Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said despite Covid pandemic and unfavourable economic situation at the international level, four percent growth of Pakistani economy shows extra ordinary performance of Prime Minister Imran Khan and his economic team. He said this economic growth will further accelerate in next two years.
He said the opposition is afraid of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s likely success in the next general elections.
