Steps being taken to remove sense of deprivation of tribal people: KP Assembly

Peshawar: May 26, 2021 (TNS): The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly was informed in Peshawar the government is taking effective steps to remove the sense of deprivation of tribal people.

Special Assistant to Chief Minister on Information Kamran Bangash informed the house that the government has completed the development projects costing twenty-four billion rupees in the first year and more than thirty-six billion rupees in second year after merging of tribal areas.

He said a task force has also been set up on the directive of Chief Minister Mahmood Khan to resolve the issues of tribal people on priority basis.

Kamran Bangash said seven hundred and two village councils and twenty-five TMAs have been set up in tribal districts under the local government department.

He said state of the art hospitals have also been established in tribal areas for provision of better healthcare to masses.
