Islamabad: Aug 13, 2021 (TNS): The Directorate of Agriculture Extension Services, Chief Commissioner Office ICT organised an event to distribute subsidized poultry birds among deserving population at Tarlai Veterinary Hospital, Islamabad today.
Total 2064 birds have been distributed to individuals. The distribution was done under Prime MInister’s ‘Project Backyard Poultry’ initiative by the team of Agriculture and Livestock Department including Mr. Ghufran Shahzad Dy.Director AES, Dr Tabinda Khawaja M&E officer and Dr Mehmood Rashid Assistant Director Livestock. Director General ICT Syeda Shafaq Hashmi in her message on the occasion said that the project is pivotal in providing livelihood to rural segments of the city. The Department is working hard to achieve given targets and ensuring that follow ups are done to facilitate the beneficiaries of the project at all times.
