Islamabad: Nov 08, 2021 (TNS): First Lady Begum Samina Arif Alvi has emphasized adopting a healthy lifestyle including a balanced diet and physical exercise to prevent breast cancer.
She was speaking at an event regarding breast cancer awareness in Islamabad today [Monday].
Begum Samina Arif Alvi said diagnosis of the disease at the first stage has 98 percent chances of saving the patient’s life.
Expressing concern over the 40,000 deaths due to breast cancer every year, she said it is the time for the women to realize gravity of the situation and be concerned about their health.
