A Punjabi song written by Syed Anjum Raza, a British poet of Pakistani origin, has caused a stir on social media as soon as it was released on social media. According to a survey by Media Art Communication (Masscom), the song, which is based on traditional musical instruments and modern musical instruments, is very popular in Asia, Europe and other parts of the world. In an interview, Syed Anjum Raza, the creator of the song”جدائیاں ” “Separation”, told the media that the song is based on a classic Romeo and Juliet love story scene. Their parents and other social characters under the Pakistani family system create hurdles and barriers like the romantic characters of the past. The song is composed by talented music director and composer Mohsin Ali Jaja. He said that the beautiful melodious voice of Aneelka Gul is the discovery by the composer Mohsin Ali, who is based in Karachi, Pakistan. Singer Anelka Gul, who was invited from Karachi to Lahore for audio and video recording, is proud to present from her platform. He said that the UK shoot was done by Koshal Shrestha who is a renowned Nepali filmmaker. Anjum further said that it was difficult to create a storyboard for this video. Video director Asif Masood, after exchanging many voice notes and phone calls on the online WhatsApp with us, presented creative ideas, thus finalizing the story board by writing video dialogues and themes. Anjum Raza thanked Asif Masood video director for his extraordinary contribution for a wonderful song. This was our first experience where we have introduced a music video drama, where focused on both the music and dialogue’’ he added. He said that the casting for actors was difficult for us, with consolation of Asif and me it became possible to get such a nice cast on board. Especially, the Pride of Performance, artist, Khalid Butt, who played the role of father and it was excellently executed, he added. He stated that main character as lover performed by a rising female star Aqedah Rai as Juliet and Uzair as Romeo. The difficult character of mother was performed by Roshni Khan a well renowned artist. He also praised the efforts of Sohail Kalyug Rockerx, who is handling online promotion and media campaigns world over.
