Aamir Liaquat, Abid Ali join Imran Khan’s camp



Karachi, March 19 (TNS): Controversial TV anchor and politician Dr Aamir Liaquat Hussain on Monday formally joined Imran Khan’s camp.

The controversial media personality announced this development during ajoint news conference with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief her on Monday.

Aamir Liaquat, on occasion, predicted that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf will clean sweep the upcoming general polls from the largest metropolis of the country.

“I feel as if I was already a part of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) – and Imran Khan’s party is my final destination,” he went on to say.

Former Muttahida Qaumi Movement leader said that he has not joined PTI but joined Pakistan.

“We will jointly fight against corruption,” Aamir added.

Imran Khan on occasion said that Aamir Liaquat represents the ‘youth of Karachi’.

“Taking the masses on board is our goal to bring the change – our country could not be prosper till Karachi is developed,” says PTI chief.

To a query, Imran Khan said that the politicians learn from their past to not repeat the mistakes.

On occasion, renowned actor Abid Ali also announced to join Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
