After India’s denial, Turkey comes forward to help Pakistani liver patients


Islamabad, July 25 (TNS): As India denying visas to Pakistani patients, Islamabad ink a medical-tourism accord with brotherly country Turkey.

According to state media report, selected Turkish hospitals will provide Pakistani patients liver transplant facility.

The decision of medical-tourism was made at a high-level meeting between Turkish delegation led by Director General Health Dr. Onor Gonor and Health minister Saira Afzal Tarar here on Tuesday.

According to agreement, over fifteen hundred Pakistanis would undergo liver transplant every year for which brotherly country Turkey has offered special package for Pakistanis.
