Islamabad, Sept 05 (TNS): Amid diplomatic challenges in wake of US president remarks and BRICS statement, the three-day Envoys Conference, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is underway in Islamabad.
Foreign Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif presiding over the inaugural session.
Envoys from various capitals are attending the conference, deliberating over a range of bilateral, regional and global dimensions of the country’s foreign policy. Pakistan’s envoys at the United Nations, United States, Russia, China, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Afghanistan, Iran and India are attending the conference.
Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi will chair the concluding session.
