Amir could miss out on Independence Cup


LAHORE Sept 11 (TNS):  Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Amir could be missing out on the upcoming Independence Cup, which features the ICC World XI.

Amir is expected to become a father, with the due date ‘potentially any time over the next week.’

This comes as major blow to Pakistan, with Amir out the bowling unit would be weaken considerably. It is pertinent to inform, Amir has never played international cricket in front of the home crowd.

“For myself playing international cricket in Pakistan for the first time, is my life’s best moment,” Amir said earlier, in a video message, released by PCB.
