Islamabad, March 11 (TNS): Balloting for government Hajj Scheme will be held tomorrow.
Minister for Religous Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Dr Noor-ul-Haq Qadri will perform the balloting.
Designated banks have so far online updated over two hundred sixteen thousand hajj applications.
Ministry of Religious Affairs has directed the banks to complete online entry of Hajj applicants at the earliest.
The banks have also been advised to clear cheques and drafts of intending pilgrims by today.
Balloting for intending pilgrims under government Hajj Scheme has been delayed by one day on banks’ request.
Meanwhile, Minister for Religious Affairs Noor-Ul-Haq Qadri says awareness campaigns would be held in all provinces for guidance of the intending pilgrims.
Talking to PTV News, he advised all intending pilgrims to participate in these media awareness campaigns to get information about proper way of performing Hajj and other relevant matters.
The Minister said Religious Ministry is taking all measures to facilitate the intending pilgrims.
