Karachi, July 23 (TNS): Special Assistant on Information and Broadcasting Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan says Prime Minister Imran Khan effectively presented Pakistan’s narrative at his meetings with US President Donald Trump at the White House.
Addressing a news conference in Karachi on Tuesday, she said the Prime Minister won the nation’s case as a peace-loving nation in his successful talks with the US President.
The Special Assistant said it is a success of Pakistan that national interest was presented and protected at international level effectively.
Firdous Ashiq Awan said Pakistan’s negative image has been turned into positive as the country’s role in establishing peace in the region has been recognized by the US President.
She said the United States has appreciated Pakistan’s efforts in the Afghan peace process, which is victory of the Pakistani leadership’s vision.
Welcoming the US President’s offer of medication on the Kashmir dispute, the Special Assistant said Pakistan wants progress in this direction.
She said acceptance of Kashmir as a dispute territory by the US President is a victory of Pakistan.
The Special Assistant appreciated the Pakistani media for positively reporting on the Prime Minister’s visit to the United States.
