Egyptian players win three squash matches against Pakistan


Islamabad, July 15 (TNS): Egyptian players won all three matches against Pakistan counterparts in bilateral series held here on Saturday.

Three matches were played on the first day of the series.

In the first match Egypt’s Zahed Mohamed beat Pakistan’s Waqar Mehboob while Egypt’s Omar Mossad beat Pakistan’s Ahsan Ayaz in the second match of the day.

In the third match Egypt’s Mazen Hesham beat Pakistan’s Farhan Zaman.

Earlier, the inaugural ceremony of Pakistan-Egypt series, was held on Saturday at Mushaf Ali Mir squash complex, Islamabad.

Mian Riaz Hussain Pirzada, Federal Minister for Inter-provincial Coordination (IPC), was the Chief Guest at the occasion.

Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF) has been putting tremendous efforts for the promotion of Squash in the country.

The chief guest awarded trophies to the winners.
