KARACHI July 29 (TNS): The former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s picture has been removed from the Jinnah International Airport in Karachi after being disqualified in Panama Papers case.
The name of Nawaz Sharif has also been removed from the website of the National Assembly of Pakistan.
The constituency (NA-120) from where he was elected is also not listed. The Election Commission of Pakistan had issued a notification disqualifying Nawaz Sharif as a member of the National Assembly.
Earlier announcing its verdict, the five-member bench unanimously disqualified Nawaz Sharif for failing to disclose his un-withdrawn receivables constituting assets from UAE-based Capital FZE in his nominations papers for the 2013 General Election.
