Hajj 2017: 109,428 Hujjaj arrived in Madina


Islamabad, August 7 (TNS): More than 100,000 pilgrims have been landed in holy city of Madina Munawara as a part of Hajj pilgrimage, state media quoting Saudi authorities.

Report quoting Saudi Arabia’s General Administration for Hajj and Umrah, at least 109,428 Hujjaj have arrived in Medina, the Prophet’s city, showing an increase about nine percent as compared to last year.

Madena airport was well prepared to receive the pilgrims and 100 Passports Department counters are engaged in entry procedures of Hujjaj smoothly and quickly, the reports added.

Thousands other Hujjaj landed in Jeddah where they left for Makkah Mukarma.
