Islamabad, July 15 (TNS): Amid political crisis in the country after publication of JIT report, Cricketer-turned politician and chief of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan thinks that his moment of political victory has finally arrived.
“I think Nawaz Sharif is gone, the long, dark night is finally over,” Khan told The New York Times in an interview on Saturday.
He said PTI by Dharna strategy forced the Sharif family to provide the money trails for the purchase of London flats.
“Now, there will be criminal proceedings against Nawaz Sharif, the Prime Minister of Pakistan,” Khan said adding that “the ruling family has misled to the court”.
PTI chief said that he is quite hopeful that the judges will immediately remove Sharif under Article 62 and 63 of the Constitution after analyzing findings of probe team report.
