Inclusion of crooks in PTI irks workers

Islamabad, June 4 (TNS): Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf workers are disappointed as party top leadership embracing “crooks politicians” coming from other parties.

Firdus Ashiq Awan was latest addition in Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf while two more PPP leaders Nazar Gonadal and Afzal Chan are ready to join Imran Khan’s clean party.

PTI chief had been claiming to continue struggle against corruption to root out the menace from the country but at the same time welcoming “Rolu Kattas” flooding from other parties to join his party.

The National Accountability Bureau in 2014 launched corruption inquiry against former minister Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan.

Nazar Muhamad Gondal, last month silently met with Imran Khan at Bani Gala along with former PPP MNA Noor Alam Khan who has already joined PTI.

Gondal’s brother is facing corruption charges in EOBI (Employees’ Old-Age Benefits Institution) scam amounting to misappropriation of millions of rupees.

Similarly, Afzal Chand also facing corruption charges.

This situation creating frustration and disappointment among party workers who believe Imran Khan would curb corruption from the country.

Common party worker irked by seeing dishonest leaders, abandoned by their native parties, embracing Imran Khan.

Apart from PPP, PML-N’s MNA Chaudhry Akhlaq recently joined PTI along with Sheikh Atique and other leaders.

The Clean Party appears to center of attraction for those politicians who are unhappy with their parties’ leadership, and thinking to join hands with the PTI.

PTI welcoming them with open arms thinking they would be the electable candidates for the party in upcoming general polls.
