However, she maintained that when it came to acting, and landing the job, it was her own hard work.
\n\u201cI won’t deny the privilege that I have,\u201d Kaia told Elle magazine in a new interview. \u201cEven if it\u2019s just the fact that I have a really great source of information and someone to give me great advice, that alone I feel very fortunate for.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cNo artist is going to sacrifice their vision for someone\u2019s kid. That just isn\u2019t how art is made, and what I\u2019m interested in is art,\u201d she added. \u201cYes, nepotism is prevalent, but I think if it actually was what people make it out to be, we\u2019d see even more of it.\u201d<\/p>\n
Gerber joked, though, that her mom has told her that if she could \u201ccall and book a Chanel campaign,\u201d it would be for herself and not her child.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut I also have met amazing people through my mom whom I now get to work with,\u201d she concluded.<\/p>\n
