{"id":112673,"date":"2023-01-30T10:47:46","date_gmt":"2023-01-30T05:47:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=112673"},"modified":"2023-01-30T10:47:46","modified_gmt":"2023-01-30T05:47:46","slug":"sheikh-rashid-moves-lhc-after-govt-sealed-lal-haveli","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=112673","title":{"rendered":"Sheikh Rashid moves LHC after govt \u2018sealed\u2019 Lal Haveli"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>RAWALPINDI: Former interior minister and Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rashid Monday moved the Lahore High Court (LHC) after the government &#8220;completely sealed&#8221; his Lal Haveli residence.<\/p>\n<p>The LHC admitted the petition \u2014 submitted by Advocate Sardar Raziq Khan filed a petition on behalf of Rashid \u2014 which will be heard today at 11am.<br \/>\nThe ETPB wrote to the deputy commissioner, the city police officer (CPO) and FIA&#8217;s director for their support.<\/p>\n<p>The deputy commissioner said that Rashid and his brother Sheikh Siddique have illegally occupied the seven land units of the haveli.<\/p>\n<p>DC Khan said that they sent several notices to the AML chief and his brother.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Sheikh Rashid and his brother failed to provide any authentic document or record proving their ownership of the property,&#8221; he said, adding that the court has also dismissed Rashid&#8217;s injunction request.<\/p>\n<p>The superintendent of police (SP), FIA&#8217;s director and the assistant commissioner were also present during the operation.<br \/>\nThe ETPB sealed a total of seven units including two units of Lal Haveli and five adjoining units.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>RAWALPINDI: Former interior minister and Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rashid Monday moved the Lahore High Court (LHC) after the government &#8220;completely sealed&#8221; his Lal Haveli residence.
