He thanked the International Association of Peacekeeping Training Center Secretariat, panelists, participants and the Center for International Peace and Stability for organizing a productive and successful week-long conference on Adaptive Training Strategies for Peace Operations. In the concluding session, delegates were briefed on the fruitful discussions, innovative ideas and proposed initiatives that emerged during the conference.<br \/>\nEmphasis was placed on innovative training methods, increasing technology integration, empowering women&#8217;s participation in peace building, and the importance of information integrity.<br \/>\nThe conference also highlighted the importance of international cooperation to address emerging challenges to peacekeeping. Former President of the International Association of Peacekeeping Training Centre, Brigadier General Joyce (Kenya) formally inaugurated the Principal Nest Institute of Peace and Conflict Studies handed over the presidency to Raja Aftab Khan.<br \/>\nThe conference laid a strong foundation for future initiatives, reinforcing Pakistan&#8217;s commitment to promoting peace, security and stability worldwide. In this regard, Pakistan is a very important role in the peacekeeping force of the United Nations. Pakistan joined the United Nations on September 30, 1947. Since 1960, it has been actively involved in most of the peacekeeping missions of the United Nations. , has been in Liberia, Somalia, Ivory Coast, Western Sahara, Sierra Leone, Bosnia, Kosovo, Georgia, East Timor, Haiti among others.<br \/>\nEven now, more than 8200 troops of Pakistan Army are engaged in various peace missions in various unstable countries.<br \/>\nThe performance of Pakistani peacekeepers has been recognized by many world leaders including the United Nations.<br \/>\nThe undisputed professionalism of the Pakistani forces has made them the inspiration of every Special Representative of the Secretary-General and Force Commander in every UN peacekeeping mission. In this regard, Pakistan&#8217;s commitment to the United Nations has been recognized by the Secretary General of the United Nations, Ban Ki-moon, who himself visited Pakistan and inaugurated the Center for International Peace and Stability on 13 August 2013 and the United Nations Peacekeeping Mission.<br \/>\nAppreciated Pakistan&#8217;s efforts in missions.
