\nPakistan’s role in the United Nations peacekeeping mission has been recognized. The participants of the 28th annual conference of the International Association of Peacekeeping Training Center appreciated Pakistan’s continuous efforts for world peace.

\nRemember earlier Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir officially started the ceremony with the inauguration of the new building of the International Peace and Stability Center.
\nUnder Secretary General of the Department of Peace Operations, Jean-Pierre Lacroix, United Nations Police Advisor, Acting Deputy Military Advisor and other senior officials were also present at the opening ceremony of the conference.
\nIn the keynote address, Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir emphasized that global peace is facing emerging threats and challenges.
