Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, UAE Ambassador to Pakistan Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Alzaabi, members of the diplomatic corps, and senior government officials attended the ceremony.<\/p>\n<p>President Zardari emphasized the importance of enhancing cooperation between Pakistan and the UAE in key sectors, including information technology, renewable energy, agriculture, and tourism. He extended an invitation to UAE businesses to explore investment opportunities in Pakistan\u2019s economy, particularly in sectors like the Pakistan Stock Exchange, renewable energy, and other promising fields, noting the country\u2019s investment-friendly environment.<\/p>\n<p>Highlighting the strategic partnership between the two nations, the president underscored the flourishing ties across political, economic, and social dimensions. \u201cThe UAE is one of Pakistan\u2019s most significant economic partners and among the largest investors in the country,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Referring to recent developments, President Zardari pointed to the signing of multiple agreements in diverse areas such as maritime, logistics, and aviation, calling it a reflection of the UAE\u2019s confidence in Pakistan\u2019s economic potential. He expressed optimism for further deepening bilateral cooperation.<\/p>\n<p>The president also highlighted the historic ties between Pakistan and the UAE, noting that Pakistan was the first country to establish diplomatic representation in the UAE, even before its formal unification. \u201cThis enduring relationship is built on mutual respect and trust,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>President Zardari expressed gratitude for the UAE\u2019s consistent support during Pakistan\u2019s challenging times.
