According to Deputy Director Operations Mr. Muhammad Usman, 50,563 cyber crime complaints were received during April-July 2025.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-46552 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dailybigdigit.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/WhatsApp-Image-2025-07-25-at-10.02.46_6c8b3bb9.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"755\" height=\"780\" \/><br \/>\nOut of these:<br \/>\nFormal investigation was initiated on 7,247 complaints<br \/>\nFIRs were registered in 457 cases<br \/>\n690 persons were arrested<br \/>\nCourts awarded sentences in 22 cases<br \/>\nAccording to the Deputy Director Operations, vigorous operations were also carried out under \u201cOperation Grey\u201d against foreign elements, who were involved in cyber crimes under the guise of foreign call centers.
