There is no doubt that Allah is the best planner, but India is sticking to its old ways. Since the 4-day clash between India and Pakistan in May, threats and aggressive statements by Indian officials have been coming out from time to time.
But in recent days, the statements of Indian political and military leaders have become more dangerous and worrying, which has created further tension in the tense situation. Last week, three provocative statements by Indian officials led to an increase in tension between the two countries.
The most dangerous statement was that of Indian Army Chief Upendra Dwivedi, in which he said that if Pakistan did not stop cross-border terrorism, it would be wiped off the map of the world. He warned that this time India would not show the ‘restraint’ it had shown during ‘Operation Sindoor’. He also said that India ‘can cross any border if needed’. He ordered his army to be alert and said that ‘the opportunity may come soon’.

After this, Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh accused Pakistan of increasing its military installations in the Sir Creek area. He warned that if Pakistan dares to take any action here, ‘such a strong response will be given that both history and geography will change’.
Sir Creek is a 96-km-long marshy river located in the Run of Kutch region that is a disputed area between the two countries. The area has been the subject of talks on maritime boundary demarcation several times, with the last meeting between the two countries in 2012 failing to produce a final result.
On October 5, Indian Air Force Chief Amarpreet Singh falsely claimed that India had shot down 9-10 Pakistani fighter jets, including two F-16s, during the May clash. He reiterated his threat that the Indian Air Force had the “full capability to strike any terrorist hideout deep inside Pakistan and at any precise target” and could strike at any time.
Pakistan Army responds to Indian leaders’ slurs and insults A meeting of military officers chaired by Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir issued a statement saying that Pakistan would give a “prompt and effective response” if the Indian leadership tried to create a “new normal”.
The Pakistan Army’s Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement warned that any future conflict could lead to “severe devastation” as Pakistan would respond with full force and without hesitation. On the threat of the Indian Army Chief, it was said that those who talk about ‘erasing from the map’ should know that this ‘erasing process will not be one-sided’.
The ISPR has said that five months have passed since the “war of truth”, but India has not stopped its old ways and false and baseless propaganda. The Indian military leadership has once again started provocative statements and campaigns, the aim of which is to gain political advantage in the state elections of Bihar and West Bengal.
This reaction of the ISPR has come in response to the statement of the Commander of the Indian Army, Lieutenant General Manoj Kumar Katiyar. General Manoj Kumar recently said in a controversial statement that Pakistan does not have the capacity to fight India directly, Pakistan may try another attack like Pahalgam. The Indian general said that the next phase of “Operation Sindoor” will be “more deadly”. In response, the Pakistan Army spokesperson said that the Indian military leadership is making statements under political pressure that could prove dangerous for regional peace. “This is not the first time that India has launched an anti-Pakistan narrative before the elections. Similar provocations have been seen before every election to influence the internal voter base.”
The Pakistan Army spokesperson termed these statements as irresponsible and provocative and said that this behavior of the Indian military leadership is tantamount to fueling war fever for political gain.

The ISPR says that the Indian army has not been able to digest the fact that it suffered a decisive defeat in the battle of truth, India’s layers of lies have been exposed, the world now considers India to be the real face of cross-border terrorism and the center of regional instability.
According to the ISPR, India is bent on policies of aggression and hegemony against the interests of its people and neighbors. The Pakistani people and forces have full capacity and firm resolve to defend every inch of their land. The Indian armed forces and their political masters should understand Pakistan’s capacity and resolve. Every aggressive move will be responded to in a swift, firm and forceful manner, which will be remembered by future generations.
The Indian people and the international community are being lied to. Every professional soldier must know that unnecessary arrogance and unnecessary statements can increase war madness. Such actions can have serious consequences for peace and stability in South Asia.
The questions that arise from India’s recent threats and provocative rhetoric are why India is adopting such an attitude at this time and should its statements be taken seriously? One possible reason is that this aggressive narrative is for India’s internal political objectives. The Prime Minister and the Cabinet took historic decisions, the operation featured strong coordination and modern tactics of the three forces, integrated use of air, land, sea and cyber warfare, 26 Indian military targets were successfully targeted, Indian bases, Brahmos depots, and S-400 systems were also targeted, Indian posts and artillery were silenced on the LoC, Pakistani drones continuously flew over sensitive Indian cities, Pakistan Army’s cyber operations temporarily paralyzed Indian infrastructure, the civilian population was saved from harm in surgical strikes, India along with its proxies increased terrorism in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and carried out successful counter-attacks against terrorists on the western front. Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has expressed concern over the provocations by the Afghan Taliban, Fitnatul Hindustan and Fitnatul Khawarij on the Pak-Afghan border. The Prime Minister paid tribute to the security forces for thwarting the Afghan Taliban attack in the Kurram sector and said that the Afghan Taliban In response to their unprovoked aggression, the Pakistan Army has responded forcefully. Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that the country’s integrity will be defended at all costs. The use of Afghan soil for terrorist incidents in Pakistan is highly condemnable. It should be noted that the Pakistan Army responded forcefully to the unprovoked firing by Afghanistan on the Pak-Afghan border, destroying several check posts, killing several Afghan Taliban and foreigners, while the Afghan Taliban were forced to flee leaving the bodies of their comrades. It may be recalled that earlier, the ISPR statement said that on October 15, 2025, the Afghan Taliban launched cowardly attacks at 4 different locations in the Spin Boldak area of Balochistan in the early morning, which were thwarted by Pakistani security forces in a forceful and effective manner. During this, 15 to 20 Afghan Taliban were killed and several others were injured. The Spin Boldak incident is not unique or isolated. On the night of October 14 and 15, the Afghan Taliban and Fitnat al-Khawarij attempted to attack Pakistani border posts in the Kurram sector of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, which was bravely repelled by Pakistani forces. According to the ISPR, Afghan posts suffered heavy damage in the retaliatory action and 8 enemy posts and 6 tanks were also destroyed, while 25 to 30 terrorists were reportedly killed. Thus, around 50 attackers of the Afghan Taliban and Fitnat al-Khawarij were killed on Tuesday and Wednesday. It should be remembered that the clashes began on the night of October 11 and 12, when the Afghan Taliban alleged that Pakistan had carried out airstrikes on the Afghan capital last week.

Taliban officials in Kunar, Nangarhar, Paktika, Khost and Helmand also confirmed the clashes. Pakistan did not claim responsibility for the attacks but urged the opposing side to stop giving sanctuary to the TTP on its soil. According to security sources, several Afghan soldiers were killed in the Pakistani army’s retaliatory action and the militant groups retreated due to effective and fierce retaliation. Earlier, US President Donald Trump said that he is an ‘expert in ending wars’ and that he is not interested in receiving the Nobel Prize for peace initiatives. I have heard that there is a war going on in Pakistan and Afghanistan, this matter will have to be seen. Speaking to reporters on Air Force One in Washington as he departed for the Middle East, Donald Trump repeated his long-standing claim that his tariff threats helped prevent a war between India and Pakistan and said his diplomacy was not about winning awards but about saving lives. The Gaza war is over and he described the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas as the “eighth war” of his presidency that he had ended. The US president boasted of his record of mediating in global conflicts, saying his administration had resolved numerous global disputes. This will be my eighth war that I have ended, and I have heard that there is a war going on between Pakistan and Afghanistan, I have to go back, I am doing another job, because I am an expert in ending wars. His statements came at a time when tensions have increased on the Pakistan-Afghanistan border. On the night of October 11 and 12, the Afghan Taliban launched unprovoked attacks on Pakistan, to which the Pakistani forces responded forcefully. More than 200 Afghan Taliban and foreigners were killed in the operation, 23 Pakistani soldiers were martyred and 29 were injured in the exchange of fire. Donald Trump also mentioned the conflicts that he claims to have resolved. He said, “Think about India and Pakistan, think about the wars that went on for years, one lasted 31 years, one lasted 32 years, one lasted 37 years, millions of people were killed, and I ended them all, mostly, in one day, that’s pretty good.” The US President said, “It’s an honor for me, I saved millions of lives, according to the justice of the Nobel Committee, it was for 2024, but some people say that an exception can be made, because in 2025 a lot of work was done perfectly and brilliantly, but I didn’t do it for the Nobel, I did it to save lives.” He said that not diplomacy but economic pressure helped him stop the war between India and Pakistan. Donald Trump said, “I ended many wars just by imposing tariffs,Taliban officials in Kunar, Nangarhar, Paktika, Khost and Helmand also confirmed the clashes. Pakistan did not claim responsibility for the attacks but urged the opposing side to stop giving sanctuary to the TTP on its soil. According to security sources, several Afghan soldiers were killed in the Pakistani army’s retaliatory action and the militant groups were driven back due to effective and fierce retaliation. Earlier, the US President boasted of his record of mediation in global disputes, saying that his government has resolved several global disputes.
