KARACHI (TNS) Karachi Prolonged power outages in UC-14 Mianwali Colony have created severe hardship for residents. Despite winter conditions, electricity remains suspended for several hours daily. Office goers and school children face serious disruption in their routine.
\nResidents said that K Electric cuts power from several key feeders without any prior notice. The affected PMTs include Pir Ahmed Shah, Sher Alam, Magsi Mohalla, Akbar Ali Kachelo, Magsi community and Awan Colony.
\nMen, women and children are forced to spend long hours without electricity. Water supply is disturbed and daily activities halt.
\nResidents have termed this situation cruel and irresponsible. They said that long outages in winter have no justification. They added that K Electric has adopted a pattern of creating unnecessary difficulty for the public.
