ISLAMABAD (TNS) Over 514 individuals checked during citywide search operations in capital\u060cFollowing the special directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the Islamabad Police has intensified search and combing operations in various areas of the federal capital to curb crime and crackdown on criminal elements.The grand search and combing operations were conducted under the supervision of SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza, and monitored by the respective zonal SPs.During these search operations, a total of 514 individuals, 259 households, 30 hotels, 60 shops, 202 motorcycles and 131 vehicles were thoroughly checked. Additionally, 22 suspicious individuals, 27 vehicles and 32 motorcycles were also shifted to the police station for further verification. Accused involved in drug trafficking arrested, 213 grams of ice recovered from their possession.SSP Operations Islamabad stated that the objective of these search operations is to tighten the noose around criminal elements and further enhance security across the city.Such operations are being conducted in different areas throughout the district.
