The meeting was attended by SP Sawan Zone Khurram Ashraf, the concerned SDPOs, and SHOs.During the meeting, a detailed review was conducted of the overall law and order situation, cases under investigation, the arrest of proclaimed offenders, the patrolling system, and the ongoing operations against land grabbers, drug dealers, illegal weapon holders, and other criminal elements.SSP Operations Islamabad directed all patrolling units to make their patrols more effective, purposeful, and result-oriented to ensure the timely prevention of street crimes, theft, motorcycle theft, vehicle theft, and other criminal activities. He also instructed officers to continue an aggressive crackdown for the early arrest of wanted suspects and proclaimed offenders involved in serious crimes.He further directed that indiscriminate legal action be taken against land grabbers, drug dealers, illegal weapon holders, and other criminal elements. Absconding suspects should be arrested without delay, investigations should be completed strictly on merit, and strong challans supported by solid evidence should be submitted to the courts to ensure that the accused receive exemplary punishment.SSP Operations Islamabad also instructed all SHOs to treat citizens visiting police stations with courtesy, address their complaints promptly, and resolve their issues on a priority basis.He emphasized that a zero-tolerance policy will be enforced against corruption, misconduct, abuse of authority, and inappropriate behavior towards citizens.
