Rawalpindi (TNS) Sadiqabad police has arrested Basharat Mahmood, an associate of convict Farrukh Khokhar and a wanted proclaimed offender, in the Majid Satti murder case.Majid Satti was shot dead by motorcycle-riding assailants in August 2022 on Sixth Road, within the jurisdiction of Sadiqabad police station in Rawalpindi. In the case, the main accused Farrukh Khokhar and his other associates were nominated. They were accused of murdering Majid Satti over a land\/plot dispute and in an attempt to seize possession after he resisted.In July 2026, a sessions court in Rawalpindi sentenced Farrukh Khokhar, Amir Hamza, and Haider Ali to life imprisonment, while one accused (Waseem) was acquitted. After the sentencing, Farrukh Khokhar was arrested from the courtroom and sent to Adiala Jail.Yesterday, Sadiqabad police also arrested Basharat, an associate of convict Farrukh Khokhar and a wanted proclaimed offender.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
