Islamabad (TNS) Police arrest 78 Accused; Drugs and Illegal Weapons Recovered\u060cAccording to the details, following the special directions of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, Islamabad Police continues its effective crackdown across the federal capital to prevent crime, apprehend criminal elements, and ensure the safety and security of citizens.As part of the ongoing operations, Islamabad Police teams arrested 13 accused individuals involved in drug trafficking and the illegal possession of weapons. Police recovered 180 grams Ice, 510 grams hashish and 10 pistols of different calibers, along with ammunition, from their possession. Cases have been registered against the arrested accused, and further investigation is underway.Meanwhile, during a special campaign launched to arrest proclaimed offenders, individuals with previous criminal records, and court absconders, Islamabad Police arrested 65 wanted offenders.SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza said that Islamabad Police remains fully committed to protecting the lives and property of citizens across the federal capital.
