Islamabad (TNS) On the special directions of Federal Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi and IGP Islamabad Captain (Retd.) Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry, Islamabad Police continues to take effective measures for the prompt resolution of citizens\u2019 issues and provision of timely relief. DIG Islamabad Ali Waseem and SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza held open courts at their respective offices, heard citizens\u2019 complaints and issued directions to the concerned officers for their immediate resolution.DIG Islamabad Ali Waseem said that citizens can approach open courts without hesitation or any recommendation and present their issues directly. Citizens can also register their complaints through the IGP Complaint Cell at 1715. On the directions of the IGP Islamabad, all senior police officers and zonal SPs are also holding open courts in their respective areas to hear citizens\u2019 concerns directly and ensure their prompt redressal.SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza also held an open court under the Open Door Policy, where he heard citizens\u2019 complaints and directed the concerned officers to take legal action on the marked applications within the stipulated time and submit reports. He said that Islamabad Police is following a zero-tolerance policy towards violence against women and children, while every citizen has equal rights and all applications will be decided on merit.Meanwhile, Islamabad Police also continues its efforts to reunite missing and abandoned children with their parents and families. During the last one month, police from various police stations traced and safely reunited more than eight missing and abandoned children with their parents and legal guardians.Police teams from Tarnol, Industrial Area, Bhara Kahu, Kohsar, Karachi Company, Shams Colony and Nilore Police Stations played an important role in tracing the children. All available resources were utilized, while information was collected through various sources to locate the missing children. The parents and families expressed their appreciation for the efforts of Islamabad Police and thanked the police officers and officials for safely reuniting the children with them.Islamabad Police remains committed to protecting the lives and property of citizens, promptly resolving their issues, serving the public and providing every possible facility and relief to citizens.<\/p>\n
