Islamabad (TNS) The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Anti-Human Trafficking Circle (Rawalpindi) has arrested a wanted accused who had been absconding for the past 16 years.<\/p>\n
The team of FIA Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Rawalpindi arrested the proclaimed offender named Noor Ahmed, nominated in FIR No. 243\/10, from Mandi Bahauddin. The accused had been a fugitive for the last 16 years.<\/p>\n
The accused is allegedly involved in facilitating citizens to be sent to Greece through illegal \u201cdonkey routes\u201d via Iran and Turkey.On the instructions of the Director FIA Islamabad Zone, the Deputy Director of the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle constituted a special team for the arrest of proclaimed offenders. The team was led by Inspector Zahid Bhatti and included ASI Rafiq and Head Constable Waqas Gujjar. The team demonstrated professional skill and arrested the wanted accused.The role of other accused involved in the case will be determined during investigation.The FIA Islamabad Zone remains committed to continuing legal action against elements involved in human smuggling and illegal immigration.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
