Aug 20 (TNS):\u00a0<\/strong> Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Najam Sethi confirmed that the World XI team is coming to Pakistan in September.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWorld XI is coming to Pakistan and this is confirmed\u2019\u2019. Jubilant Sethi announced.<\/p>\n<p>He was speaking at the development program ceremony held here on Saturday in honor of the players of \u2018Lahore Qalandars\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Sethi said that the World XI team will have big names from all the top cricketing nations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have all the names, but will announce them in a day or two,\u201d added the PCB chairman.<\/p>\n<p>PCB sources have revealed that among others South African biggies\u00a0 Hashim Amla and Imran Tahir would feature in World XI squard.<\/p>\n<p>Reaffirming his aim to restore international cricket in Pakistan Najam Sethi has showed confidence that the participation of big names from all the top countries will open doors for international cricket in Pakistan.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll top players will come,\u201d he said, adding \u201cthe world XI tour will be followed by a visit by Sri Lankan team.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Sethi added that the PCB is planning to hold more matches of PSL\u2019s third edition in Pakistan and these matches will be held at two venues, Karachi and Lahore.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith the sixth team adding to the bouquet of PSL, we will have an increased number of total matches in the tournament this time and will have more matches at home,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The chairman PCB also reasserted his zero-tolerance policy on corruption and discipline, saying that he will not tolerate any sort of code-of-conduct breach by the players.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNo sympathies on the basis of talent, if a player is found guilty of wrongdoing we\u2019ll not tolerate any such thing,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Najam Sethi also lauded Lahore Qalandars franchise for its efforts for players\u2019 development program.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey are a dedicated team and working for the benefit of Pakistan Cricket\u201d Sethi said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>LAHORE.
