Abrar\u2019s friends challenged him to swim through the stream. The youth had reportedly been promised Rs15,000 cash and a mobile phone in exchange for his stint.<\/p>\n<p>Abrar eventually jumped to cross the river but was whisked away by the strong current of\u00a0stream.\u00a0A search for his body is underway despite passage of a day.<\/p>\n<p>The footage of the incident has gone viral on social media.<\/p>\n<p>Muzaffarabad Police have apprehended\u00a0Abrar\u2019s friends and\u00a0registered a case against them on his\u00a0father\u2019s request.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Islamabad. 20 Aug (TNS): Friends of a teenage boy, who died after being dared by them to \u2018jump\u2019 in the Jhelum River, have been arrested.
